Field Guide to the Sasquatch, a handbook by David George Gordon, a marine biologist, describes the typical Sasquatch as "generally reclusive and shy" and suggests that it is omnivorous, much like a bear. Like many Sasquatch reference books, the field guide also suggests that the Sasquatch may have evolved from the Peking Man or some other prehuman anthropod in an evolutionary path that has led to a point somewhere between the orangutan and the human, and that its most likely habitat is the forests of the Pacific Northwest. (Sasquatch sightings have been reported in every state except Hawaii.) But almost every other detail about the creature-whether it is nocturnal or diurnal, passive or aggressive, lives alone or in groups-is disputed by the people who regularly hunt for the Sasquatch. They also argue over whether a specimen should be killed and studied or whether the Sasquatch should be treated as an endangered species and simply photographed in the wild and left alone.

The original word, in the Stó:lõ dialect of the Halkomelem language, is used by the Coast Salish Indians of the Fraser Valley and parts of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Indian tribes across North America have a total of more than sixty different terms for the sasquatch.

Bigfoot was a journalistic term generated in the middle of the last century during a rash of sightings in Northern California; its use is not unreasonable since the species has proportionally much bigger feet than those of human beings and, furthermore, the word has come to be recognized widely. A goodly selection of fanciful terms have been used by pioneers and later non-native inhabitants of North America for the occasional published and repeated encounters with sasquatches.

Bigfoot Sighting in April 2007 - Last week while driving between Port Alberni and Tofino on Vancouver Island I saw what at first I believed to be a bear on a tree overhanging the river. After commenting to my wife, I glanced back again to see what I can only describe as being a large ape like creature crouched on the tree with its arm hanging down almost into the river as if it were trying to grab a fish swimming upstream. I am absolutely certain that what I saw was not a bear because I distinctly saw its facial features which were definately similar to an ape. I am 100% sure that what I saw was a Sasquatch. I am almost sure I could identify the exact tree where I saw this creature should anyone be interested in investigating this.

The Top 10 Bigfoot Sightings in 2003

1. Bigfoot was spotted in Beijing, China. This sighting was big enough to hit CNN in June. Several Bigfoot sightings were reported to, and reportedly investigated by, Chinese authorities. The creature was sighted in a nature reserve in the Hubei province.

2. In September, two pre-teen children saw Bigfoot in Hiouchi, CA. Almost simultaneously, others reported seeing Bigfoot in Klamath, CA. Both places are part of the greater Del Norte County. Does that name ring a bell? It should. It’s where the most legendary—and most controversial—Bigfo ot film ever produced was recorded in 1967.

3. A Yeti’s paw was found in Siberia in October. Well, that’s what the locals are calling it, anyway. A mountain climber found the severed paw embedded in permafrost high in the Altay mountains. Scientists used X-Ray to determine the paw is several thousand years old, but were unable to identify the creature to which it belonged. It’s interesting to note that in the Congo not long before, a previously unidentified type of ape was discovered.

4. Again in October, in Bennington, Vermont, Bigfoot was sighted by several people in cars, as they drove past the creature. Despite the fact that Bigfoot has been reported in Vermont since at least 1879 (when the New York Times published an account of Bigfoot in Vermont), most the eyewitnesses are skeptical. It seems a local joker is famous for pulling pranks on the townsfolk, and most feel that the Bigfoot in question was really the prankster in a gorilla suit. Or was it?

5. A flurry of Sasquatch sightings in the Vancouver Islands, Canada, had enthusiasts hopeful that DNA evidence of Bigfoot’s existence would be procured in 2003. The best method to capture Bigfoot DNA? Wait for someone to see Sasquatch scratching an itch on a tree, then scrape DNA samples off the bark. No luck so far.

6. Once more in October, Bigfoot finally got some serious press: the National geographic gave Bigfoot the once-over with an article interviewing a professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University who insists that Bigfoot is real. Read the story here. OK, so it’s not a traditional sighting, but it’s a sighting on the news stands.

7. And yet again in October (what is it with Bigfoot and October?) an entire train load of passengers were delighted to see Sasquatch strolling along a riverbank near their route as they traveled to Durango, CO, on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge historic railroad. Despite the commotion from the train and its gleeful passengers, the creature didn’t so much as glance in the locomotive’s general direction.

8. And then in—yep, you guessed it—October, major news media (such as ABC, CBS, and CNN) were all in a race to get the story about a Bigfoot sighting in otherwise sleepy Decatur, Arkansas. The creature sighted, though otherwise fitting the Bigfoot profile, was unusually small (in contrast to the typical 8 or 9 foot stature of Bigfoot). Hope springs eternal, however, that witnesses may have seen a juvenile Bigfoot. One enthusiast was quoted as saying "They’re not born nine feet tall." (Benton County Daily Record)

9. July brought two exciting Bigfoot sightings, in vastly different parts of the world. One sighting was in China, where six people including a journalist saw the creature, and the other sighting was in Tennessee. The Chinese sighting included a patch of "foul-smelling urine-like liquid" near where Bigfoot was seen. Meanwhile in Tennessee, Bigfoot was staring at a woman through the window of her trailer home. An investigator from a nearby conference managed to capture a mold of the fresh footprint.

10. Yeti DNA tests proved inconclusive for scientists later in July. Hairs found in a footprint reputedly belonging to the Sumatran Yeti did not match any known creature. Of course that doesn’t rule out the existence of Bigfoot. It merely rules out the chance that Bigfoot is an already-identified animal, and deepens the mystery...

Skin color ranges from the deepest black or charcoal to deep brown, "sunburned" reddish brown, and gray. Some areas, like the nose, appear at times in a shiny, oily black color. The palms are lighter in color, and the soles of the feet quite light, presumably as a result of thick sole pads composed, as in other primates, of fat and connective tissue. A few albinistic sasquatches have been seen, whose skin color was pink.

The sasquatch is covered with hair, not fur. Fur has guard hairs and an undercoat, while primate hair consists of one type of hair alone. The sasquatch, being a primate, does not molt its hair, but it is replaced one hair at a time, hence is not found in wooly batches.

Christmas eve is one of the most intense days we do at UPS. Management does all this messaging, and they can't wait until I get done with my route so I can run over to the Capital Hill neighborhood to help this Harry guy deliver his stuff. We were fortunate this year that we did not have any big killer blizzards during the holiday season.

I started a new blog several weeks back called "Help me get out of my UPS Truck " which is me talking about my job, but simultaneously offering many things for sale through my various affiliate marketing networks. Several good sales actually resulted from the blog, and a few people sent compliments for the idea of having a blog like that. I sure enjoyed the experiment, but I may not continue it next year. Not sure yet, will decide later.

There is phobia that is linked to the experience of panic attacks‚ and that is agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is the fear of open spaces or of being in crowded‚ public places such as shopping markets. It is a fear associated with leaving a safe zone‚ such as the home.

In its extreme form‚ agoraphobia and panic attacks can lead to a situation where people become housebound for numerous years. Please note‚ this is by no means a hopeless situation‚ and I always need to reinforce the fact that something only becomes hopeless once the person really believes that to be the case.

Agoraphobia and Panic Attacks

To begin with‚ the primary issue that needs to be addressed is the belief in the safe zone. To clarify‚ when I talk about safe zone‚ I am referring to the zone where the person believes panic attacks do not occur‚ or at least occur infrequently. As comfort is found there‚ it is where the person tends to spend more and more time. The safe zone of anxiety is a myth sustained by the mind. The mind has developed a habit of thinking that dictates that being inside the safe zone is the only place to feel secure and avoid agoraphobia and panic attacks.

If agoraphobia is an issue for you‚ watch as your mind comes up with reasons why it believes only a certain area is safe and another is not. Those reasons range from being near the phone or people you trust to having familiar physical surroundings to reassure you.

The reality of anxiety is that there is no such thing as a safe zone. There is nothing life threatening about a panic attack‚ and therefore sitting at home is the same as sitting under the stars on a desert island. Of course‚ your mind will immediately rush to tell you that a desert island is a ridiculous place to be as there are no hospitals‚ no tranquillizers‚ no doctors‚ NO SAFETY.

You need to review your previous experiences of panic attacks. Aren’t you still here‚ alive and well‚ after all those attacks during which you were convinced you were going to die?

It may be that on occasions you have been driven to the hospital where they did medicate you to calm you down‚ but do you really believe that you would not have survived were it not for the drugs? You would have. If the same bout of anxiety had occurred on this desert island‚ it too would have passed‚ even if you were all alone. Yes‚ when it comes to conditions that need medical attention such as asthma‚ diabetes‚ and a whole litany or other conditions‚ then having medical aid nearby is a big asset‚ but no doctor in the world would tell someone with anxiety that there are only specific safe zones in which she or he can move.

As I know more than anyone how terrifying it can feel to move out of your safe zone as the feeling of fear is welling up inside‚ I do not wish to sound harsh. This course is not about chastising people for their behaviors. It is a way of looking together at solutions and seeing through the myths that form prison walls. The goal is to enable you to return to a richer and more meaningful life and ultimately defeat your agoraphobia and panic attacks. I also realize that people around you cannot understand why a trip to shops would cause you such discomfort. You will have to forgive them and try not to be upset by their lack of understanding of your problem.

If an individual such as a partner or family member has not had a similar anxiety issue‚ that person may often find it hard to understand and empathize with what you are going through. I am sure you have been dragged out of the house numerous times against your will‚ kicking and screaming. This can then lead to tensions and arguments and is upsetting as it can make you feel less understood by those around you. People around agoraphobics are often simply trying what they feel is best. If you can see that their intentions are well meaning (although often misguided)‚ then you will be able to relate to them better and help sooth any potential conflicts.

There is one thing I am sure you will agree with‚ and that is that the only person who will get you out of agoraphobic thinking is yourself. These are your thoughts‚ and only you can begin to change that pattern. Dealing with long term agoraphobia and panic attacks is a slow process to begin with‚ but once the results start happening‚ it moves faster and faster until you reach a point where you will find it hard to believe that going out was such a difficult task.

Nocturnal Panic Attacks

Not being able to sleep can actually be quite a traumatic. As a doctor will tell you there are two things that keep us from falling asleep — a worry and or physical discomfort. In your case it is the worry that is keeping you up. Possibly the worry of an anxiety attack as you sleep‚ and the worry of not being able to sleep and how that will affect your performance the following day. It’s a viscous cycle.

The exact causes for nocturnal panic attacks are not known. So what we need to help you do is reduce the frequency of them and if they do happen‚ to come out of them quickly.

We know that most nocturnal panic attacks are not caused by dreams. Records of sleep polysomnographia show a maximum of panic attacks during early sleep phase (phase II)‚ not during the REM–phases associated with dreams. This is a major difference to nightmares. Nightmares happen during the second half of the night‚ so we are often able to remember the content of these dreams.

When awoken with a nocturnal panic attack‚ use my One Move technique and that will drop your anxiety significantly. You will then probably find it takes you some time to get back to sleep as your mind is racing with all the things that could go wrong during the night. Should you find your mind racing and you cannot get back to sleep. Have a journal beside your bed and start to write down all of the symptoms you are feeling.

“I was feeling xxx now I feel yyy” and continue to write until this actually becomes quite a boring exercise and your body and mind will want to return to sleep.

Writing down what you are feeling e.g. “now I feel less tired and eyelids heavy” is a simple tool for preparing your mind in a linear way to wind down and return to sleep. (An advanced form of counting sheep) Don’t be afraid of writing pages and pages of nothing in particular‚ what you are doing is helping the conscious mind release whatever is keeping it wake so it can relax and return to sleep.

It is also important when preparing for bed not to go to bed fearing you might awake with a nocturnal panic attack. Go to bed confident that if one should arise you will deal with it successfully. That way you do not put yourself under pressure to “not to have an anxiety attack”.

If you are overly anxious about not getting a good night sleep then adopt the following attitude:

Each night as you retire say to yourself…

“I am preparing for bed but I will not try and force sleep — if it comes it comes — if not I will not beat myself up over it.”

Every person goes through periods of sleeplessness from time to time it is very natural‚ you may not be aware of why you are experiencing what you do but at the very least you can accept it.

When you wake in the night don’t leave your bed try and stay there‚ getting up and watching television etc takes you further out of the sleep pattern and it is best you stay in bed — reading/writing is fine but always do so lying down as that sends a message to the brain that it really is bed time.

Naturally the best way to get a good nights sleep is a good physical workout each evening. This is very effective as the mind may try and keep you awake but the sheer physical exhaustion will bring sleep on quicker.

The frustration at not being able to sleep is important to surrender. Surrender to what ever may or may not happen during the course of a night and you will sleep naturally. It is the anger and frustration that most often keeps you awake.

The term sasquatch, for the North American primate under consideration here, is an anglicized derivative of the word "Sésquac" ;, meaning "wild man". The original word, in the Stó:lõ dialect of the Halkomelem language, is used by the Coast Salish Indians of the Fraser Valley and parts of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Indian tribes across North America have a total of more than sixty different terms for the sasquatch.

Bigfoot was a journalistic term generated in the middle of the last century during a rash of sightings in Northern California; its use is not unreasonable since the species has proportionally much bigger feet than those of human beings and, furthermore, the word has come to be recognized widely. A goodly selection of fanciful terms have been used by pioneers and later non-native inhabitants of North America for the occasional published and repeated encounters with sasquatches.

Bigfoot Sighting in April 2007 - Last week while driving between Port Alberni and Tofino on Vancouver Island I saw what at first I believed to be a bear on a tree overhanging the river. After commenting to my wife, I glanced back again to see what I can only describe as being a large ape like creature crouched on the tree with its arm hanging down almost into the river as if it were trying to grab a fish swimming upstream. I am absolutely certain that what I saw was not a bear because I distinctly saw its facial features which were definately similar to an ape. I am 100% sure that what I saw was a Sasquatch. I am almost sure I could identify the exact tree where I saw this creature should anyone be interested in investigating this.

The Top 10 Bigfoot Sightings in 2003

1. Bigfoot was spotted in Beijing, China. This sighting was big enough to hit CNN in June. Several Bigfoot sightings were reported to, and reportedly investigated by, Chinese authorities. The creature was sighted in a nature reserve in the Hubei province.

2. In September, two pre-teen children saw Bigfoot in Hiouchi, CA. Almost simultaneously, others reported seeing Bigfoot in Klamath, CA. Both places are part of the greater Del Norte County. Does that name ring a bell? It should. It’s where the most legendary—and most controversial—Bigfo ot film ever produced was recorded in 1967.

3. A Yeti’s paw was found in Siberia in October. Well, that’s what the locals are calling it, anyway. A mountain climber found the severed paw embedded in permafrost high in the Altay mountains. Scientists used X-Ray to determine the paw is several thousand years old, but were unable to identify the creature to which it belonged. It’s interesting to note that in the Congo not long before, a previously unidentified type of ape was discovered.

4. Again in October, in Bennington, Vermont, Bigfoot was sighted by several people in cars, as they drove past the creature. Despite the fact that Bigfoot has been reported in Vermont since at least 1879 (when the New York Times published an account of Bigfoot in Vermont), most the eyewitnesses are skeptical. It seems a local joker is famous for pulling pranks on the townsfolk, and most feel that the Bigfoot in question was really the prankster in a gorilla suit. Or was it?

5. A flurry of Sasquatch sightings in the Vancouver Islands, Canada, had enthusiasts hopeful that DNA evidence of Bigfoot’s existence would be procured in 2003. The best method to capture Bigfoot DNA? Wait for someone to see Sasquatch scratching an itch on a tree, then scrape DNA samples off the bark. No luck so far.

6. Once more in October, Bigfoot finally got some serious press: the National geographic gave Bigfoot the once-over with an article interviewing a professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University who insists that Bigfoot is real. Read the story here. OK, so it’s not a traditional sighting, but it’s a sighting on the news stands.

7. And yet again in October (what is it with Bigfoot and October?) an entire train load of passengers were delighted to see Sasquatch strolling along a riverbank near their route as they traveled to Durango, CO, on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge historic railroad. Despite the commotion from the train and its gleeful passengers, the creature didn’t so much as glance in the locomotive’s general direction.

8. And then in—yep, you guessed it—October, major news media (such as ABC, CBS, and CNN) were all in a race to get the story about a Bigfoot sighting in otherwise sleepy Decatur, Arkansas. The creature sighted, though otherwise fitting the Bigfoot profile, was unusually small (in contrast to the typical 8 or 9 foot stature of Bigfoot). Hope springs eternal, however, that witnesses may have seen a juvenile Bigfoot. One enthusiast was quoted as saying "They’re not born nine feet tall." (Benton County Daily Record)

9. July brought two exciting Bigfoot sightings, in vastly different parts of the world. One sighting was in China, where six people including a journalist saw the creature, and the other sighting was in Tennessee. The Chinese sighting included a patch of "foul-smelling urine-like liquid" near where Bigfoot was seen. Meanwhile in Tennessee, Bigfoot was staring at a woman through the window of her trailer home. An investigator from a nearby conference managed to capture a mold of the fresh footprint.

10. Yeti DNA tests proved inconclusive for scientists later in July. Hairs found in a footprint reputedly belonging to the Sumatran Yeti did not match any known creature. Of course that doesn’t rule out the existence of Bigfoot. It merely rules out the chance that Bigfoot is an already-identified animal, and deepens the mystery...

Skin color ranges from the deepest black or charcoal to deep brown, "sunburned" reddish brown, and gray. Some areas, like the nose, appear at times in a shiny, oily black color. The palms are lighter in color, and the soles of the feet quite light, presumably as a result of thick sole pads composed, as in other primates, of fat and connective tissue. A few albinistic sasquatches have been seen, whose skin color was pink.

The sasquatch is covered with hair, not fur. Fur has guard hairs and an undercoat, while primate hair consists of one type of hair alone. The sasquatch, being a primate, does not molt its hair, but it is replaced one hair at a time, hence is not found in wooly batches.

Color of the hair ranges from black or dark (50%), through various shades of reddish-brown and gray to white. The body can have varicolored patches of hair. Older animals have increasingly grey hair, though color does not appear to change from childhood to adulthood. Hair is variously glossy clean and shiny, fluffy, or dirty, matted and unkempt ("angora goat dreadlocks"), probably a function of native curliness, age, or of recent immersion in water or lack thereof. Oprah is overstepping her area of influence in my opinion. Recent reports tell of her joining Obama's campaign. In my humble opinion the presence of Oprah with only cause confusion over the real issues and over what is truly important to America. Sure she will draw a crowd, but can she really influence the nomination, and subsequent election of a Presidential Candidate?

However, there is evidence that Oprah is the top celebrity in the world, and that she is the most preferred celeb to partner with if a candidate does take one on. 100% of women everywhere in this country know who she is, and of those, a high percentage are influenced by her opinions.

Here is the problem;  Oprah is  truly a wonderful woman, and a great example.  But the Presidential candidate is more important, and when they are together will people think they are electing Oprah? Really, think about this. Women in particular get very emotional about things like this, and if they see the 2 in tandem enough, they may make the wrong assumption that Oprah will become the next Secretary of State!  

I am a guy and I like Oprah, but I would think more of Obama if he would go on the campaign trail alone. No help, no props, no celebs; even a great one like Oprah. Just my opinion.

Taking a big Risk to get Photos in the Grand Canyon

I was simply stunned seeing this guy standing on this solitary rock IN the Grand Canyon. The canyon's depth is 900 meters here. The rock on the right is next to the canyon and safe.

Watching this guy on his thong sandals, with a camera and a tripod I asked myself 3 questions:

1. How did he climb that rock?
2. Why not take that sunset picture on that rock to the right, which is perfectly safe?
3. How will he get back?

At this point, he is at the point of no return, leaning into the jump. After the sun set behind the canyon's horizon he packed his things (having only one hand available) and prepared himself for the jump. This took about 2 minutes. At that point he had the full attention of the crowd. After that, he jumped on his thong sandals. The canyon's depth is 900 meters here.

Now you can see that the adjacent rock is higher so he tried to land lower, which is quite steep and tried to use his one hand to grab the rock.

We've come to the end of this little story. Look carefully at the photographer. He has a camera, a tripod and also a plastic bag, all on his shoulder or in his left hand. Only his right hand is available to grab the rock and the weight of his stuff is a problem.

He lands low on this flip flops both his right hand and right foot slips away... At that moment I take this shot.

He pushes his body against the rock. He waits for a few seconds, throws his stuff on the rock, climbs and walks away.

What a confident guy. No climbing equipment or ropes, just thongs and an armful of equipment. What a guy!

A Dead Man Has Some Explaining to Do

LONDON, Dec. 5 — John Darwin was declared dead some four and a half years ago, so it was a surprise when he walked into a police station here on Saturday, claiming to have no idea what he had been doing all this time.

It seemed heartwarming, if peculiar. Mr. Darwin’s children said they were delighted. His wife, Anne, who, oddly enough, moved to Panama City six weeks ago, said, “It was the moment I’ve always prayed for,” and speculated that perhaps her husband had lost his memory from hitting his head in the supposed canoeing accident in 2002 in which he supposedly drowned.

But Britain’s ever alert, ever cynical tabloids quickly dredged up some fishy details, including the possibility that Mr. Darwin, a prison officer, might well have amassed considerable debt before disappearing. And Wednesday, after several newspapers published a photograph from the Internet that seemed to show him alive and well — and with his wife — in Panama last year, the police swooped in and arrested Mr. Darwin on suspicion of fraud.

Not that they appear to know where he has been all these years, either.

“Obviously, Mr. Darwin’s reappearance has raised a lot of questions,” Detective Superintendent Tony Hutchinson told reporters at Cleveland Police headquarters in Middlesbrough, near where Mr. Darwin had disappeared. “There will be people out there who will know exactly where he has been, where he has been living and what he has been doing,” he said. “We want to hear from them.”

Detective Superintendent Hutchinson said the police received financial information about three months ago “to suggest something suspicious about Mr. Darwin’s disappearance” and had begun making inquiries. Still, he said, “nobody was more surprised than I was when he walked into that police station.”

So far, Mr. Darwin has stuck by his story — that he has no memory of anything that happened after a family vacation in 2000, two years before he vanished. He is currently being transferred to the authorities in Cleveland, where he will face further questioning.

Detective Superintendent Hutchinson said the strange tale began on March 21, 2002, when Mr. Darwin, a kayaking enthusiast who lived in the coastal town of Seaton Carew, near Hartlepool, failed to show up for his job as a prison officer. His wife reported him missing at 10:30 p.m., touching off a major sea and air search over several days.

Mr. Darwin’s body was never recovered, for reasons that are now obvious. But his paddle was found in the sea within a day, and the remains of the kayak washed up on shore on May 7 that year.

Mrs. Darwin, a doctor’s receptionist, always maintained that she had had no contact with her missing husband. Six months after he vanished, she told reporters how hard it was to move on.

“People die, have a funeral, they have a headstone, there is something to mark the fact they existed on this earth,” she said. “But without a body, I don’t know how we can mark John’s life. All I want is to bury his body. It would enable me to move on.”

The next year, in April 2003, a coroner in Hartlepool declared Mr. Darwin officially dead.

At that point, Mrs. Darwin did appear to move on. She collected on his life insurance. And six weeks ago, having sold two of her family’s properties for $927,000, she moved to Panama City.

In an interview with The Daily Mail in Panama before her husband’s arrest — and before she knew of the emergence of the photograph that appeared to show the two of them together last year — Mrs. Darwin stuck to her story that his reappearance had come as a total shock.

She said that she had spoken to him by telephone three times since Saturday and that, as soon as she addressed “some issues with my visa” and oversaw “the arrival of my furniture from the U.K. this week,” she would return to Britain to meet her husband.

“I will fly back and see John, and hopefully he will be able to move back over here with me and we can start afresh,” she said. “There are many, many things we have to talk about. I know it’s not going to be easy.”

It was posted on the Web site of Move to Panama, a company that specializes in relocating well-to-do foreigners to Panama.

“I remember posing with them for that picture,” the owner of the company, Mario Vilar, told The Daily Mail. “They said they were starting a new life in Panama.”

The police cannot explain what is perhaps the greatest mystery about the affair: Why, if he had successfully dropped out of sight for so long, did John Darwin suddenly come back? “We have no information as to why Mr. Darwin came forward,” Detective Superintendent Hutchinson said, “but clearly there is some trigger and some motivation for him to walk into the police station.”

The backbone of the Forex market consists of a global network of dealers. They are mainly major commercial banks that communicate and trade with one another and with their clients through electronic networks and telephones. There are no organized exchanges to serve as a central location to facilitate transactions the way the New York Stock Exchange serves the equity markets. The Forex market operates in a manner similar to the way the NASDAQ market in the United States operates; thus it is also referred to as an over the counter (OTC) market.

How does one profit in Forex?

How do I trade Forex?

We are becoming a nation of too many laws. Too many regulations. Too many lines drawn in the sand. Think of it; We cannot legally play casino games on the internet anymore, but we are allowed to go to the Senator's friends place at las Vegas or Atlantic City and lose our shirts. We can't smoke in buildings or bars anymore, but we can go to Iraq and die. No more talking on cell phones in our cars in states like California without the fear of being rousted by the police. Murder and mayhem are happening everywhere all the time. Junior high school teachers are running away with young students, mothers are drowning their children in the tub, tv is all about graphic violence and kidnapping. It's all screwed up today, and it is getting worse every day.

The people of the world are watching us with great interest as we legislate away all of our freedoms that we are famous for having. Our Congress has gone looney toons with laws and restrictions that make it possible for our enemies to decry our way of life. We cannot be happy with this current state of affairs and we should not be. Grassroots change is needed. Stop voting for stupid monkeys who only want to take away our freedoms and restrict our personal liberties. These types of things weaken our nation, by weakening our strength in freedom. We are strong due to our history of broad personal liberty. Justice is becoming more and more rare as courts rush cases through to make way for new ones right behind them. The jails are so crowded that perhaps some day they  may actually create a new sacrificial army with these folks. It's all wrong.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the
Declaration of Independence?

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before
they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons
captured.

Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.

They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred
honor. What kind of men were they?

Twenty four were lawyers and jurists.

Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated.

But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the
penalty would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships
swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to
pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his
family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty
was his reward. Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall,
Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson Jr. noted that the British General
Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly
urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his
wife, and she died within a few months.

John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13
children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to
find his wife dead and his children vanished. A few weeks later he died from
exhaustion and a broken heart. Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates.

Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These were
not wild eyed, rabble rousing ruffians. They were soft spoken men of means
and education.

They had security, but they valued liberty more. Standing tall, straight,
and unwavering, they pledged: "For the support of this declaration, with
firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge
to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."

They gave you and me a free and independent America. The history books never told you a lot about what happened in the Revolutionary War. We didn't fight just the British. We were British subjects at that time and we fought our own government!

Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't. So,
take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently
thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.
Remember: freedom is never free!

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
